Regular emails to your customers will keep you in their minds. When they are ready to purchase, you will be the first name they think of. These emails should be entertaining and informative so that your customers want to read the email, but also include a CTA (Call to Action) that will inspire them to make a purchase. Automations

Automations, also known as email flows, are the emails that get sent out when an event happens, such as a sale. These email series are a powerful tool for your marketing strategy. You only have to set them up once and then they keep doing the work for you. Not taking advantage of these opportunities for making more sales is leaving money on the table. Here are some common automations that I can help you write. As part of the service I will set these flows up in Klaviyo or your existing Email Service Provider.

Welcome Series

This is your chance to make a good first impression. When your customers sign up for your emails, send out a welcome series so your customers will get to know you better. Let them know right away what makes you stand out from everyone else.

Abandoned Cart Series

If your customer put something in their cart, there is interest. There are many reasons someone doesn’t purchase and a simple nudge often pushes them to buy. An abandoned cart series gives them that reminder that there was something they wanted to buy.

Before it Ships Email

Before an order has been completed, there is chance for an upsell. Sending your customer an email before their order ships is a good chance to see if they wanted to purchase anything else.

Order Confirmation

This is the one email you know people will read. Get them excited about your order. Let them know what your brand is about. You have your reader’s attention at the time that their interest is the highest. Don’t waste this opportunity with a generic email.

Post Order Series

Statistically, most of your business comes from repeat business. The post order series gives you the opportunity to cultivate the interest in your business and keep a happy customer.

Anniversary Email

The Anniversary email is another way to keep your repeat customers happy. Giving them a gift (usually a discount) on the anniversary of their first purchase helps you retain their business.
